Bangn Body Yellow Tube of Goodness - Worth the Hype?

It’s the yellow tube that’s all over Instagram and anyone who’s anyone is doing sponsored reviews. Being the highly influenceable person I am I bought it at the very beginning of lockdown round 1 (we are now half way through lockdown 2.0 here in Melbourne) and I am now onto my third tube of the original and half way through the new luminous one.

I’ve made no secret of my love for this ‘Yellow Tube of Goodness’ on all my social media. Obviously I’m not sponsored, though I wish I was after how much money I’ve spent on their website over the past few months, so to quote beauty queen Gemma Watts, #NotSponsoredJustGood.

I cannot speak to the claims that it reduces scarring, stretch marks or cellulite (although I have plenty of all those things I could test it out on). I have been using it purely for the hydration factor and how it makes my skin FEEL. While I have noticed the scarring from my eczema on my hands seems to have faded a little bit I have not taken any particular notice.

So why do I harp on about the “Firming Lotion” so much if I haven’t documented or payed any attention to it’s apparent firming powers?

1). My skin feels incredible! I’m talking baby’s bum soft, bouncy and supple. My skin feels hydrated all day long, which is huge for my eczema prone skin. Normally once my moisturiser sinks in that’s it, my skin is dry again, but not with the Firming Lotion. Even better with the new Illuminating Firming Lotion, I feel like a magical unicorn x dolphin.

2). I’m craving summer, the beach and cocktails but thanks to 'The Rona’ I won’t be experiencing anything of the sort any time soon. But Bangn Body makes me feel like I’m on a tropical holiday about to be sipping on a Pina Colada by a pool. I’m not normally one for sweet scents and my skin usually freaks out if I so much as go near scented body cream but there is something special and different about this stuff. I have no idea what it is but the smell doesn’t hang around in a bad way.

3). Bangn Body takes away the most annoying part of moisturising, the “Sitting naked on the bed while it sinks in sol I can get dressed” part. I’m impatient at the best of times and even more so when I’m sitting in my freezing cold bedroom butt naked in the middle of Melbourne winter. So big ticks from me that you can get dressed pretty much straight away.

Many people have messaged me to tell me that after they saw my video review they went and purchased it as well and they’re all just obsessed as I am, so I will continue to sing it’s praises to anyone who will listen!

I’ve also tried and enjoyed the Exfoliant “Smooth Skin Scrub”, their multipurpose balm “Lip & Eye Beauty Balm and the “Illuminating Firming Lotion”.
